The campaign of State Senator Jamie Eldridge (D-Acton) is seeking Campaign Interns for the 2014 election cycle. This fall, join us & gain valuable political experience in an exciting election here in Massachusetts.
Senator Eldridge has always run and won with strong grassroots campaigns, and our hard-working interns will continue to be substantially involved in nearly every aspect of the race.
Ten hours / week minimum time commitment, further responsibilities & opportunities available to those willing to work hard and put in a greater time commitment
Direct voter contact, including but not limited to canvassing door-to-door, phonebanking, & events
Further opportunities available in finance, research, and communications & social media
Directly assisting the candidate, campaign manager, & field director as needed
Collaborate with volunteers & supporters in the office and at campaign events
The ideal intern:
Is passionate about the issues & committed to electing a progressive Democrat.
Has previous campaign, work, or volunteering experience.
Has strong writing & public speaking abilities.
Please note that while the Campaign Intern position is unpaid, we are willing to work with high schools & universities to make sure our interns receive volunteer program hours & internship credit.
